downgrading to internet explorer 8?

Yes, if you just remove internet explorer 9 version 8 will come back up.

it would be from control panel but keep in mind, your compuer will keep forcing you to go b ack to 9. my advice is to learn 9 as much as you don't like it.

It forces you to go to 9, but i just hide that update. it got to the point since i'm using 10 of jaws, form fields didn't work at all so downgraded to 8.

even hiding it won't help, did that before it still snuck the update past me somehow.

You don't have to upgrade. Just uncheck it when windows update ask after you remove it, but if at all possible stick with 9. It's actually better.
